Michael James Holaday

Michael was born on July 17th, 1961 to his parents James and Billie Laverne (Pepper) Holaday in Harvey, Illinois.

Michael married Teresa Calisto on July 4th, 2005 in Hawaii.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years Teresa, children Meghann (Tyler) Dubea, Katherine (John) Fry, Ashley Gregory, Jenna (Dan) Faust, Kaleigh Calisto, Adam (Danielle) Calisto, Eric (Kristen) Calisto, and father-in-law Charles (Betty) Austin. Michael is also survived by his nine grandchildren Jackson, Zayne, Luci, Archer, Addisyn, Meylah, Vera, Asher, Fitch, and number ten on the way. He is also survived by his best friend Tim Senesac.

Michael was an Eagle Scout, an accomplishment he was very proud of. He received his Bachelor’s degree from St Joseph’s College where he attended on a soccer scholarship. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family, DIY Projects, and Purdue sports games. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. Michael’s outgoing and caring personality ensured that he never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his mother Billie Laverne Holaday, grandmother Verdie Tyler, and mother-in-law Gloria Austin.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday February 5th, 2018 at 6:00pm. Friends may visit from 5:00pm until time of service at Ellers Mortuary and Cremation Center (3400 S Webster St. Kokomo, IN 46902) with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating.
