Misty was a very caring and loving person, who loved her children very much. She was a "jokester" and enjoyed teasing her family as that is how she showed her love. Misty was an animal lover and taught Sunday School at her church. She was a member of the Jesus Apostolic Faith Church in Galveston.
She is survived by three sons, Jeremiah (Kendall) Corey, Jacob Corey, and Brandon Corey; her parents; siblings, Kerry (Elizabeth) Name Jr, Mickey (Victoria) Name, and Crystal (Andre) Miller; two aunts, Laveena (Mickey) Name and Leota (Cliff) Duke; Vernon Corey, lifelong partner; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation for Misty on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM, at Jesus Apostolic Faith Church, 408 East Jackson Street, Galveston, Indiana. Sister Vickie Jackson will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be be made in memory of Misty to Jesus Apostolic Faith Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, envelopes will be provided at the church.
