Nilda Annette Cantu

Nilda "Nina" Annette Cantu, age 55, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Community Howard Regional Hospital. She was born on July 24, 1967 in Kokomo to George and Albeza (Garza) Cantu. Nina graduated from Kokomo High School in 1985. She was a florist for Flowers by Ivan for many years. She enjoyed spending time in her beautiful vegetable garden and was an animal lover. Nina enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. What she loved the most was spending time with her granddaughters, Niah and Isla. She is survived by her two children, Cassidy Lanning and her husband, Jonathan Robins and George Cantu-Dwyer; mother, Albeza Cantu; sisters, Jay (Bing) Taylor and Nita Lowery; two granddaughters, Niah and Isla Robins; several nieces and nephews; Tony Lanning; and ex-husband, Jason Dwyer. Nina is preceded in death by her father, George Cantu; sister, Yvette Cantu; and best friend, Todd Reed. The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
