Raymond Everett Hamilton Jr., age 66, of Kokomo, Indiana died on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Raymond was born November 19, 1954 in Kokomo to Raymond Everett Hamilton Sr. and Loma Eureva (Rogers) Hamilton.
Raymond served in the United State Army where he earned the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He retired from Chrysler after 32 years of employment. He was a member of the Local UAW #685. He loved to work on magic jigsaw puzzles, wood-working and watching wrestling.
Survivors include his daughters; Melissa Hamilton, Irene (James) Krauss, Loma (Randy) Merrick, Rebecca (Damion) Brown, son; Jon (Nikki) Hamilton, mother of his children; Jerry Hamilton, sister; Sheryl (Wesley) Jefferies, brother; Steven (Candy) Hamilton, grandchildren; Michaela (Angie) Carpenter, Madison Carpenter, Jenica Voss, Hailey Krauss, Ricky Clawson, Devon Brown, Madelyn Merrick, Alyssa Hamilton, great grandchildren: Stella Voss and Weston Voss, also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Also preceding him was his son, Jeremiah Hamilton and his two sisters, Karen Hamilton and Kimberly Walker
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 6 at Ellers Mortuary on Webster St. with Brother Jeff Haill officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM at the funeral home till the start of the funeral service. Entombment will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 8 at Sunset Memory Gardens with military honors performed by the United States Army and the local VFW Post 1152 Military Rites Team.
