Roger Lee Shrock, 86, passed away in his home in Tavares, FL on March 8, 2026. He was born April 27, 1939 in Kokomo, IN to the late Byron and Gladys Sanford Shrock. Roger was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Roger graduated from Kokomo High School in 1957. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corp. He married Donna Nutt Baker in 1965 and together they lived a beautiful life. Roger was an electrician at the Chrysler Kokomo Transmission Plant, he also served as a skilled trade committeeman and retired in 1996. He was a proud member of the UAW Local 685. In his free time you could find him out on the water catching fish.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Shrock; his children, Jeff Shrock (Tina), Greg Baker (Cindy), Rob Baker (Debbie), Troy Shrock, and Larry Shrock, and Cherisa Mills (Mike); his grandchildren, Samantha Myers, Cory Shrock, Bo Baker (Audra), Brittany Francis (Billie), Brock Miller, Samantha Ostler, Brad Baker, and Amber Baker; his brother, Gary Shrock (Linda); his brother-in-law, Ron Nutt (Mary Lou); his sister-in-law, Mary Jo Nutt; and 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant siblings Larry Joe and Myrna Kay Shrock.
Visitation will be held at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, IN 46902, on March 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm. Roger will be laid to rest at Mast-Hensler Cemetery.
