Ruth Sylvania Buchanan

Ruth Sylvania Buchanan, 78, passed away on July 7th, 2019. She was born to Raymond and Gertrude Buchanan in Kokomo on September 30th, 1940. She was a 1958 graduate of Kokomo High School. She went on to work for Delco GM, and retired after over 30 years of service. Ruth was a talented bowler, and competed in many State Championships with her women's league. She enjoyed bowling particularly at Don Lowery Lanes. She also loved to golf and fish. She enjoyed Bingo with her sister, Ida, at the VFW, and other places around the Kokomo area. Ruth was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Ruth leaves behind her siblings Ida Buchanan and Albert (Etta) Buchanan; and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in passing by her parents, siblings Jim Buchanan and Chuck Buchanan. No services are being held at this time.
