Born on July 20, 1985, she was the daughter of Jeff and Mary Jane Phillips. On January 28, 2009, she gave birth to her beautiful baby girl, Emma Taylor Hodson, whom she loved with all her heart.
Sara attended Kokomo High School and graduated in 2003. She was employed with Delphi and later became a CNA.
Her smile, along with her contagious laugh, could turn your bad day completely around. She loved to make people laugh with her quick wit and twisted sense of humor. Sara had a heart full of love and compassion. She was a healer and offered comfort to anyone who reached out to her, never judging. She loved cooking, music, strays, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Sara touched so many lives and will be remembered for the amazing person she truly was.
She is survived by her parents; daughter, Emma; sister, Kristen Kerby (Donald); the love of her life, Brad Blalock; his children, Bradyn, Jadyn, and Nate; as well as his parents, Curt and Fran; along with grandparents, James Allman, Joan Frushour, Linda Clements; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Norma Allman, Richard “Pete” Clements, and John and Mary Phillips.
Services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. with visitation from 3:00 p.m. until service at Ellers Mortuary (Webster Street).
