Shirley Ann DeLon

Shirley Ann DeLon, 93, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on September 14, 2022. She was born on February 15, 1929 in Laurel, Indiana the daughter of Evan and Valarial Shera. She married the late, Philip DeLon in June 19, 1955 in Anderson, Indiana. Shirley retired from Marsh Supermarket after 20 years as a cashier. Shirley was a lifetime member of Eastern Star. Shirley loved golfing and was on Rice's Women's Golf Team for several years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Karen (Tom) Bergin, Steve (Joni) DeLon, Michael (Jill) DeLon; grandchildren, Stephanie, Matt, Alex, Heather, Caleb, Jeremy, Elliana, Jenna, Lauren, Brooke, Molly; great-grandchildren, Harry and Winnie. Shirley was preceded in death by her 11 siblings. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home.
