Teresa was preceded in death by her father, John T. Irvin, mother, Mary Lou Harter, and sister and brother-in-law, Mariann (Irvin) and Sam Swearingen.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard P. (Dick) Keller, and daughters Megan (Dave) Corcoran, Gretchen (Jason) Young, and Heather (Adrian) Hart. Sister Martha Jo (Tom) Smuts and brother Robert Irvin. Grandchildren: Savannah Young, Lily Hart, Liam Corcoran, Delilah Hart, and Audrey Corcoran.
She retired from the Purdue Extension Howard County Office after twenty years, during which time she made significant contributions to the community. As a 10-year 4-H member herself, she loved being involved with 4-H for so many years with her daughters that even her grandchildren got involved. She also loved being involved with the master gardener program over the years and was very active in the butterfly garden, leaving a lasting impact on the local environment.
She was a wonderful mother who was always there, offering abundant support, wisdom, and love. A friend to many, she leaves a legacy of kindness and strength.
Teresa was a woman of faith and the heart of her family. She shaped their spirituality by living a Christian life. Even during her battle with cancer, her faith never wavered. She did not boast as she reflected on the spirit of Jesus as her north star.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. Teresa's love for her three daughters and grandchildren was boundless. She always made sure they felt her warmth and affection, and they brought immense joy and happiness to her life. She was a woman of many passions, enjoying walking, knitting, gardening, and crossword puzzles, each activity reflecting her vibrant spirit.
