

Terrisa "Terri" Marie Cavazos, age 63, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 13, 2021. Terri was born to Pedro and Phyllis Cavazos on January 11, 1958 in Kokomo. The youngest of 15, this was a position she was proud of and embraced her whole life.
Terri lived her life to the beat of her own drum. She had many adventures in her life and along the way she made many friends as she never knew a stranger. She loved to go fishing and playing cards with her family. She was a self taught guitar player and loved music. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle in her younger years. She was a loving and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She attended Kokomo High School. In the early 1970's she was crowned queen of Kokomo's LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) pageant. She was a member of the women's softball league in Kokomo for many years.
Terri is survived by her siblings, Jane Hickman, Ramona (Joe) Rodriguez, Manuel (Susan) Cavazos, Joey (Karla) Cavazos, Artie (Cindy) Cavazos, Rudy (Marcia) Cavazos, Liz Caldwell; brothers-in-law, Ruben Barraza and Dave Maynard along with many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Pete Cavazos, Joe Cavazos, Lupe Barraza, Henry Cavazos, Adolph Cavazos, Maureen Maynard, Frank Cavazos, and brother-in-law, Tom Caldwell.
We will miss her deeply and cherish her memory forever.
There will be a time of visitation for Terri on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo.
