Tim graduated from Taylor High School in 1981. He was very detail oriented, always keeping his house in the best shape and everything had its place. He was a car fanatic, a passion that started in his childhood. When he was just 8 years old he took apart the engine to his dad's Volkswagen. He worked on cars his whole life, even owned 3 Volkswagen buses. He would frequent the local car shows whenever he had a chance. In addition to his love for cars, Tim also loved James Dean. Anything James Dean he was a fan of.
Tim is survived by his daughter Marilyn "Susie" Pyles, siblings; Dawn (Bill) Foster and Jerry Laughner, grandchildren; Brooklyn Walker, Tnay Olivares, and Isabella Pyles, great-grandchildren; Legend Geer and LeAire Geer, and niece Monique (David) Haire.
In addition to his parents Tim is preceded in death by his son Brett Laughner.
A memorial service for Tim will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902.
