Tina graduated from Eastern High School, class of 1976. Tina always wanted to be a mother and was able to be just that to 3 amazing kids. She loved to spend her time coloring and camping. Her favorite place being Spring Mill, where Tina and her family spent many joyous occasions. She loved animals and always took care of them as if they were her child, and to her, they were. She loved so deeply, whether it was her family or her furry family.
She had a heart of gold and was always willing to step up and be there for whoever needed her, whenever they needed her. Her laugh was infectious and could make anyone follow suit. Her playful spirit and love for all things whimsical shone brightly, especially in her fondness for Betty Boop, whose charm and sparkle mirrored her own. Though life was not always the easiest, Tina persevered and her life was a beautiful performance, filled with the joy, color, and music of the stage she so dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Morris and Mary Morris; brothers, Ernie Morris, Richard Morris, and Jeffrey Joe Morris. She is survived by her daughter Melissa Layfield; two sons, Donald(Chelsea) Hooten and Joshua(Makayla) Hooten; sister, Deborah(Dale) Wolford; brother, Hank(Gina) Morris; mother, Lynda Morris; and five grandchildren, Damon, Aurianna, Autumn, Hartleigh and Everett.
