

Virginia “Lee” Wright, 85, of Kokomo, went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. She was born on July 4, 1931 in Kokomo to the late Loy “Bill” and Annabelle (Geiger) LaFollette. She married Ivan John Wright on June 7, 1963, and he survives.
Lee graduated from Kokomo High School. She worked at the Reliance Factory for several years. Afterwards, she started working at Delco Electronics in 1952, spending the majority of her time working on the radio assembly line. She retired in 1984 after 32 years of service. Lee enjoyed her family, and was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Jerome Christian Church and was baptized in 1974. She became a born-again Christian and was ready to meet with her Lord.
Lee is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ivan John; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jody and Gary Dressel and Teresa and Wayne Mullins; six grandchildren, Brian and Stacey Alexander, Jason and Tammy Alexander, Jennifer Alexander and Chris Riley, Sherry and Jason Hight, and Christina and Roosevelt Solomon; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Brenda (Mullins) Dill.
The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will be on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00am, also at the mortuary, officiate by Pastor David Stokes. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lee to the Jerome Christian Church, envelopes will be provided at the mortuary.
