Vivian D Smith

The family of Vivian D. Smith, Kokomo, announces her passing on February 7, 2023 at the age of 92. She was born in Mark, IL on November 22, 1930 to Danny & Thelma Hale. She married Paul S. Smith on March 14, 1952 and was happily married until his death on June 5, 1997.

Vivian enjoyed crafts of all kind especially crocheting where she would make lap blankets and donate them to Angels of Mercy. She liked to cook for her family and host holiday meals. She loved Christmas lights all year round. She retired from Delco in 1981 after 32 years.

Vivian is survived by her daughter Michelle Berg; grandson Dustin Pyke; brother Bob (Reba) Hale and sister in law Betty Hale.

Vivian is preceded in death by her husband Paul; parents Danny & Thelma; brothers David & Rex Hale; sisters Marjorie Phillips and Patty Ann Hale.

Funeral services with be Monday February 13, 2023 1:00pm at Ellers Mortuary 725 S. Main St. Kokomo with visitation from 11:00am until time of service. Jeff Smith will officiate.

Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery.
