Wanda Nell Casey

Wanda Nell Casey, 77, of Kokomo passed away at 10:09 PM Sunday February 24, 2019 at Waterford Place Health Campus, Kokomo. Born December 21, 1941 in Maryville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Virgel Burrell and Pearl (Ditmore) Burrell. In May 24,1968 she married Harold "Dean" Casey, and he survives. She was employed with Accurate Parts for 27 years; then worked in Home Healthcare for 16 years before retiring. She liked fishing with Dean, going to rummage sales, dancing, antiques, traveling and spending time in Florida.

Survivors include her husband Harold "Dean" Casey of Kokomo; one daughter Deanna Lindsey of Kokomo; one brother James (Sharon) Birl of Kokomo; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Irene Burrell.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 1:30 PM Thursday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster, Kokomo. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Sunset Memory Gardens with Pastor Nettie Evans officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Shriners Hospital for children with envelopes available at the mortuary.
