Zelpha Jessamine Bagwell, aged 92, of Kokomo, IN passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was born on August 9, 1933 in Kokomo, IN to the late Roscoe & Agnes (Boyer) McCoy. She married the late Robert Emmett Bagwell, Sr. and they were married for 73 years. Zelpha was a proud caretaker in the local healthcare systems, and loved to take care of all those in need of a healing touch. She was a devoted God-fearing wife and mother.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, George and Johnny; grandchildren, Katrina, Robby, Josh, Amanda, Chip, Debbie, Daniel, and Michael; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and daugher-in-law, Sharon Bagwell.
Zelpha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Bagwell, Sr.; sons, Robert and Randall; and daughter, Deborah.
A graveside service for Zelpha will be held Monday, October 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Albright Cemetery, 3910 Albright Rd. Kokomo, Indiana 46902; Pastor Lynn Coleman to officiate.
