Lorraine was a good seamstress; she loved to crochet making things from table covers to dresses. Lorraine worked in sales at Kauai Gold, a small shop in the Coconut Market Place where she saw her friends and made new friends with the visiting customers. She was always happy to say “HI” and talk with people.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Saito Sr., parents Yosho and Tsuru Gushiken, sister Setsuko Tomoyose and brother Hirokazu Gushiken.
She is survived by her son Robert Jr., Ronald Saito, daughters Mariko Ringgold, Naomi (Roy) Saito, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be privately held.
Borthwick Kauai Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
