Diane Catherine Kaelin died at age 79 years old. She passed away in her home in Spring Valley, CA. She died very peacefully on April 2nd, 2026, at 2PM surrounded by her dogs that she loved so very much, along with her sister Deb Harvey, daughter Melissa, grandsons Alex & Tyler Kendall, and her husband Eugene J. Kaelin. She was recently diagnosed with bulbar onset ALS which was very aggressive. Diane was a retired social worker for over 40 years. She was the oldest of her 4 siblings - Don Schertz, Deb Harvey, Denise Davis, and Donna Alford. Diane’s unconditional love for everyone touched so many lives. Her genuine perspective on life made people love and adore her. She will be forever missed but not forgotten. Services will be held at Santa Sophia church in Spring Valley, CA.
