Ed and Kailyn!  I love this pic!  I  miss you so much!

Honoring you Ed!  One week after you met our father in Heaven. May you rest peacefully knowing we are fine!

Darla and Ed were my college gymnastic coaches, in addition to becoming my 2nd set of parents while away at college.  So fortunate and appreciative to meet and have them as my teachers, mentors and be involved with genuine, caring and respectful people.  They influenced me as a young college student as well as a person who with their influence, developed my coaching skills to move into college coaching after leaving San Diego to further my education.  So many great memories traveling, competing and enjoying each other’s company, 
Staying in touch and giving back to them both after many years was and is a definite highlight of my life.  Visiting Ed regularly, sharing photos, talking Hawks, eating taquitos, and sharing memories.
Ed was such a humble, giving person, achieving Mr. St. Louis, and becoming one of the most respected coaches in women’s college gymnastics during his 50 years as a professor and coach at San Diego State.  Having created Aztec Gymnastics Club allowed he and Darla to continue their legacy to many young ladies, and past gymnasts to work with and for them and maintain their influence in competitive gymnastics.
May Ed fly with the angels and enjoy peace finally!

I will always remember Lindsey and Kaitlyn as little girls before school in the mornings as Ed made them English muffins. They  watched him and argued over which half looked the best! Love, Cheryl.
