

Geraldine Frances Watson, 94 of La Mesa, California, died February 11,2026 peacefully in her sleep. She lived a good life and traveled to many countries, took many cruises, had many friends, and loved to entertain. Her claim to fame was being in a Sanka coffee commercial with Fannie Flag that was shown all over the U.S. She is survived by her children- Diane Watson Crampton, Michael Watson, Leianne Watson; her grandchildren –Sean Crampton, Teresa & Jarod Bray, Gordon & Amy Crampton and Michael & Carla McCrary; her great-grandchildren- Harley Bray, Sarah Petillo, Helen and Aaron Crampton, Shannon, June, Hayes and Sunny McCrary, Harper Wingett and great-great grandson Arthur Petillo.
Gerry was an active member of St. Martin’s Widows and Women’s Club for many years.
She was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held at Erickson - Anderson Mortuary, located at 8390 Allison Avenue, La Mesa, California, 91942, on February 26, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service is scheduled for February 27, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church, situated at 7710 El Cajon Blvd, La Mesa, California, 91942.
The committal service will take place on February 27, 2026, at 1:00 pm at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley & Memorial Park, located at 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, California, 92121.
