Jeffrey Raymond Perl was born on March 7, 1983 to Steve and Mary Perl in La Mesa, CA, at Grossmont Hospital. He grew up in San Diego where he enjoyed spending his time surfing, playing golf, and practicing his music by playing the guitar and drums. You could always find him pulling apart or putting together anything electronic just to see how it worked. He was a talented photographer and loved taking pictures of anything and everything. He enjoyed traveling, and was able to see most of the world. He proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged May 31, 2013 after serving 9 years. He suffered from severe duty related PTSD and passed away February 6, 2015. He is survived by his daughters, Katelyn and Gwenyth, and their mother Kristen, his parents, Steve and Mary Perl, his brother Stan Perl and wife Beth, his sister Tiffany Bourgeois and husband Ed, his niece, Amelia, and nephews, Ethan and Aiden, his 15 aunts and uncles, 8 cousins and his Nana.
