Kevin Kertson, age 61, died on July 24, 2019 in La Mesa, CA after a miraculous and courageous fight against cancer for 4 years. Born on April 1, 1958, Kevin was a native and life-long resident of San Diego, California. Kevin met the love of his life, Jonni, as teenagers and they were married for 40 years. He was a proud graduate from Kearny High School and a fan of all San Diego sports. He was a good friend, father, and husband who welcomed everyone with open arms. His hobbies included fishing, listening to classic rock, and causing a raucous on Facebook. In addition to his family his faith was the most important thing in his life. He gave a great amount of time and money to support ministries and mission around the world, including pastors in Myanmar and Thailand.
Kevin is survived by his brother Bruce Kertson, his wife Jonni Kertson, their four kids, Justin, Brandon, Bethany and Aubree and his 9 grandchildren who will miss him very much.
