Marguerite McEwen Vocino

1937-2026

With heavy hearts but deep gratitude, we announce the passing of Mrs. Marguerite McEwen Vocino on the 10th of September, 2026 at the age of 89, wife of the late Frank Vocino.

Marguerite journeyed through life with the light of a smile and the warmth of kindness. A wife, sister-in-law, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend, she offered to all the gift of listening and the gentleness of spirit.

Over the years, Marguerite planted seeds of love, courage, and hope around her. These seeds will continue to bloom in our lives as we cherish her memory.

She is survived by her beloved children, Nick (Barbara), Kevin (Marie-Claude), Sandra (Luc), and Sharon (Jason); her grandchildren Wesley (Sophie), Ashley (Alex), Sabrina (Mike), Jeremy (Felicia), Trinity (Anthony), Nathaniel, and Aidan; her great-grandchildren Emerick, Lea, River, Rowen, Oaklen and Riley; as well as many relatives and friends.

On Sunday the 8th of November a gathering for a celebration of life will be held in St. Raymond Parish at Roméo V.Patenaude Complex (135 Ch Haendel, Candiac, QC J5R 1R7). The family will be receiving condolences in the presence of the ashes in the church at 2 p.m followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m.
