Caffie was born July 24, 1955 in LaGrange, daughter of the late Edward Woodrow Taylor and Ruby Hazel Danford Taylor. She has been employed with West Georgia Health Systems for the past 30 years and was a registered nurse with certification as a RN/CCRNII. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dan Taylor and a granddaughter, Avery Ann Stanford.
Survivors include her son, Robert “Eric” Stogner and his fiancé Nikki Brown; daughter, Samantha Stogner Stanford and her husband Terry Stanford; grandchildren, Lauren Faith Stogner, Brystol D. Stanford, and Taylor Nicole Stanford, all of LaGrange; brother, Eddie Taylor of Gainesville, GA; four sisters, Betty Jo Jones, Carol Williams, Martha Holloway, all of LaGrange, and Debbie Pike of Franklin, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Mike Reeves officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
