

Mr. Arrington was born in Randolph County, AL, the son of the late James Hollis Arrington and Mary Overton Arrington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pam Arrington; sister-in-law, Peggy Arrington; father -in-law and mother-in-law, O.C. and Frances Edmondson; brother-in-law, Ricky Edmondson; uncle, B.J. Arrington.
Mr. Arrington was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church and the Owner and Operator of Midsouth Mechanical and Southland Propane. He was a little league baseball coach for almost 18 years and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Mr. Arrington leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sharon “Shady” Arrington; sons, Mike (Cassidy) Arrington, David (Sabrina) Arrington, and Greg (Anne) Arrington; grandchildren, Ally, Chase, Madison, Ava, Hayden, Connor, and Hollis; brothers, Ronnie Arrington and Freddy (Carol) Arrington; sister-in-law, Von Mormon; brother-in-law, Carl (Edna) Edmondson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. The Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Rosemont Baptist Church with Reverend Max McCord officiating. Burial will follow in the Arrington Family Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in memory of Mr. Charles L. Arrington.
