Dewey Lemuel Deese, Sr.

Mr. Deese was born November 21, 1958 in Carrollton, GA to the late Travis Deese and Reba Nell Hammond Deese. “Big D”, as he was affectionately known was a member of Cathedral of Praise and was retired from Southwire Company after 36 1/2 years of service.

Survivors include his loving wife, Tina M. Deese; children, Terry Womack, Michelle (Ralph) Doll, Dewey L. (Brenda) Deese, Jr., Reba (Timmothy) Hemrick, Christina (Angel) Matias, Hank (Teri) Lashley, Brianna (Tony) Lowery; grandchildren, Zachary Womack, Hannah Sartin, B.J. Anderson, Ryan (Shannon) Fields, Hillary (Derek) Breaux, Caleb Matias, Makaiah Matias, Angel Lemuel Matias, Damien Spradlin, Zackery Spradlin, Hayden Lashley, Tristan Lashley, Azariah Lowery; great grandchildren, Star-Ann, Izaiah, Amber, Ehren, Jacob, Rachel, and Leah; aunt, Geneva Rigsby; a host other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00am Thursday, September 21, 2017 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Robert Looney officiating. The Gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the funeral home.
