Elizabeth V. Bidwell

Mrs. Bidwell was born October 3, 1921 in Suffern, NY, daughter of the late George Mycek and Anna Krainak Mycek. She was employed with Empire National Bank in Suffern, NY and after retirement in 1979 she and her husband, John F. Bidwell (deceased) moved to Pine Mountain, GA. She was also predeceased by sisters, Mary Mycek Hudson and Ann Mycek Conklin and brothers, John Mycek and Joseph Mycek.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jane E. and Bart Brooks of Waymart, PA; two grandsons, Scott Allen Brooks of Rochester, NY and Brian Stuart Brooks of Stony Point, NY; sister, Irene Visoky of New City, NY; a brother, George Mycek of Wellington, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Mike Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Mountain City Cemetery.

The gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Elizabeth V. Bidwell.
