Helen Gisi

Mrs. Gisi was born May 8, 1927 in Richlands, VA, daughter of the late John D. and Ida Burton. While in Pine Mountain for 23 years, she was a member of Christ the King Cahtholic Church. After moving to LaGrange eight years ago, she was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. Mrs. Gisi was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Hector J. Gisi.

Survivors include her daughters, Susan (Dulany) Hall of St. Simons Island, and Andrea (Cary ‘Sonny’) Yarbrough of LaGrange; a son, Thomas Gisi of LaGrange; grandchildren, James D. Hall, III, Laura Hall, and Robert Gisi; and her nieces, Jane (Paul) Brown of Waynesboro, VA and Barbara Ann (Orrin) Hall of Bluefield, VA.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011with Father Theodore Book officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
