Henry Burton Pollard Sr.

Mr. Pollard was born March 15, 1934 in Randolph County, AL, son of the late James B. Pollard and Alice Benefield Pollard. Addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Bishop.

Survivors include his wife, Nell G. Pollard of LaGrange; daughter, Kimberly P. Ayers of Atlanta, GA; son, Henry B. Pollard, Jr. and his wife DeeDee, of LaGrange; 6 grandchildren, Alexandra Pollard, Samantha Pollard, Amanda Ayers, Leigh Anne Pollard, Whitney Pollard, and Shelby Pollard; 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Ina Mae Waldon and Linda Robinson; and three brothers, Raymond Pollard, Bill Pollard, and Steve Pollard.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.

The family request all flowers be omitted and contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or the Shriners Hospital in memory of Mr. Henry B. Pollard, Sr.
