James M. Embry

Mr. Embry was born July 10, 1946 in LaGrange, son of the late James Embry and Mary Jane Cofield Embry. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was employed with Interface Flor as the Safety and Training Instructor before retiring. Mr. Embry was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Embry; daughters, Belinda (Junior) Faught and Deborah (Mike) Bryan; grandchildren, Jennifer (Josh) Weatherford, Michael Bryan, Jr., and Jamie Bryan; great grandchildren, Carter, Caleb, and Caity Weatherford; brothers, Phil Embry, Dennis (Debbie) Embry, and Roger Embry; aunt, a very special Aunt Kathy Cofield, niece, Jessica (Tomas) Clough; and great nephew, Elijah Clough; mother in law, Lema Flournoy.

The family will be at the home of his granddaughter Jennifer Weatherford at 213 Village Drive, LaGrange, GA 30240.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Brad Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens. The gathering of family and friends will be 2:00 until 3:00pm at the funeral home.
