Jim is survived by his wife, Georgia Lee Defrees Munro; daughter, Christie Munro and her husband, Pablo Navarro; grandchildren, Erika Burris and her husband, Jordan Burris, Cristian Navarro and great-grandchild, Sophia Burris.
Jim was preceded by two sons, Infant Munro and James Lee Munro.
Jim served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and retired as a Sergeant Major. During his service, SGM Munro was awarded many distinguished awards and citations. After retirement, he opened Munro Cabinets where he built and installed custom cabinets as well as doing kitchen renovation projects.
Jim truly loved his family and he enjoyed fishing every chance he got.
James will be laid to rest in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton GA with a private family service with Military Honors.
