Mark Benjamin Thomas

Mr. Mark Benjamin Thomas, 64, of Marietta Georgia and a former resident of LaGrange passed away Saturday at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Mark was born July 27, 1959 in Atlanta the son of the late Bernard Jerome and Peggy McWhorter Thomas Power. Mark Graduated from Paulding County High School (Class of 1977), he attended the University of West Georgia and Georgia Tech.

Mark’s interests and talents were wide and varied which included playing Piano and classical music, Golf, fishing and camping, which led to an interest in old firearms and vintage cars. He had a keen sense of humor and was a kind and gentle soul that loved the Lord.

Wife: Debra Thomas and her Son: Mason (Jasmine) Evans and their children Samantha, Sabrina, and Zelena

A private family interment will be held at a later date in the Clark’s Bluff Cemetery in Camden County Georgia.
