Mary Katherine Bailey Towler

Mrs. Towler was born January 27, 1931, in Franklin, GA to the late A.J. Bailey and Lucy Allen Bailey. She was a faithful member of Western Heights Baptist Church, where she enjoyed being in the Gleaners Sunday School Class. Mrs. Towler took pride in the fact that she was the caregiver to her late husband, C.P. Towler. In addition to her parents, and her husband, she is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Mitchell; a grandson, Chris Mitchell; and granddaughter, April Kraft.

Survivors include her son, Ron and Reba Towler; daughter, Becky Mitchell; son, Randy and Lisa Towler; grandson, Todd and Ashley Mitchell; granddaughter, Kadi and Corey Wyble; granddaughter, Megan and Jobe Rader; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Greg Brown officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be from 4 pm to 5pm prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gleaners Sunday School Class of Western Heights Baptist Church in memory of Mary Katherine Towler.
