Mr. Maryland was born January 13, 1922, in Carroll County, GA, to the late McDuffey Williamson and Cora Mote Williamson. He was member of Shiloh Methodist Church in Carroll County, GA. He retired from Milliken (Elm City) after 35 years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Maryland was preceded death by his wife, Etta Ballew Williamson.
Survivors include his four children, Elaine G. McCathern; Eddie L. Williamson; Judy A. Parker; Mattie J. ( Tommy) Rigsby; granddaughter and caregiver, Debra Nobley; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; sister, Geneva Martin; several nieces and nephews, other family and friends
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. The Gathering of family and friends will be at the funeral home Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
