Robert Joseph “Bobby” Alvarado was born June 2, 1964 in Flint, Michigan, son of Oscar and Rosemary Dominy Alvarado. Bobby was a member of the LaGrange Pentecostal Holiness Church and was not ashamed of the Gospel and his salvation. Bobby was a long time employee of the City of LaGrange (Gas Department). He will be very missed by his wife, children and grandchildren who adored him immensely.
Survivors including his parents are his wife, Mandy A. Alvarado; daughters, Brandy and Joshua Clower, Erica and Taylor Thornton, Kaylin and Joel Nivens, Teresa and RJ Hanners; sons, Jonathan and Megan Hyatt, Jacob Hyatt; he was a Poppy to 15 grandchildren; sisters, Tina Alvarado, Angela Alvarado; brothers, Jerry Alvarado, Scotty Alvarado; a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Rocky Alvarado.
Funeral Services for Bobby Alvarado will be held 2:00pm Sunday, July 7, 2024 at The LaGrange Pentecostal Church on Chase Road with Pastor Phillip Murray officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. Interment will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Alvarado, Taylor Thornton, Joshua Clower, Joel Nivens, RJ Hanners, Jacob Hyatt, and Travis Thornton.
