Sara A. Lindsey

Mrs. Lindsey was born October 6, 1929 in Hogansville, GA, daughter of the late Grady Walker Allen and Sara “Sallie” Shanks Allen. She had lived in LaGrange most of her life and was employed with Callaway Mills and Company and Milliken and Company before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Lindsey.

Survivors include her 3 daughters, Terry Lindsey Dollar and her husband, Mike Dollar, Pat Lindsey, and Sandy Lindsey Page and her husband, George Page; 5 grandchildren, Dr. Zack Dollar and his wife, Lacy Dollar, Sabrina Dollar Haaland and her husband, Dr. Wade Haaland, Maggie Dollar, Charlie Page and his wife, Erika Page, and Sean Page and his wife, Donna Page; 7 great grandchildren, Rebecca Dollar, Owen Haaland, Olivia Haaland, Hannah Page, Keanan Page, Alexa Page, and Elli Page; 3 brothers and 4 sisters-in-law, Dr. Joe Frank Allen and his wife, Doris Allen, Randall Allen and his wife, Marice Allen, Tommy Allen and his wife, Nancy Allen, and Betty Sue Allen.

Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, April 19, 2012 in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy McMillian officiating.

The gathering of family and friends will be at the funeral home this evening from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M and on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
