Shannon McGuork Camp

Mrs. Camp was born March 3, 1973 in Atlanta, GA. She was a graduate of Columbus College and was formerly employed with West Georgia Health, Cancer Clinic. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Paul T. King, paternal grandparents, Dallas and Nettie D. McGuork, and a cousin, Rusty Pike.

Survivors include her husband, Matthew Camp; two children, Maegan Camp and Claire Camp; mother and step father, Gena and Gary Lockhart; father and step mother, Harvey and Paulette McGuork; grandmother, Reba King; step sister, Jennifer Kuhn; step brother, Eddie Hughes; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Mountville Baptist Church, Mountville, GA with Reverend Dwayne Perdue, Reverend Aaron McCollough, and Reverend Jeff Rudbeck officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.

The gathering of family and friends will be this evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
