Mrs. Jones was born April 12, 1941 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late James William Franklin and Dorothy Chesterman Franklin. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the Talisman Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband, James K. Jones, MD; daughters, Alison Brown, Dorothy Jones, and Katie Jones DVM; son, Matt Jones; grandsons, Andy Brown, Brian Brown, and Aulden Jones; granddaughters, Lydia Roush and Evie Roush.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, LaGrange, GA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wellstar West Georgia Hospice in memory of Mrs. Susan Jane Jones.
