
Ted was born January 23, 1946, son of the late Hoyt and Della Freeman. He spent his life in construction and maintenance and retired from Exxon Mobil in 2010. Ted enjoyed following his passion of hunting and fishing.
Ted leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 47 years, Berdine Yancey Freeman; two daughters, Tammy (Rodney) Law and Robin (Jeff) Broussard; one granddaughter, Rachel (Matt) Sprayberry, all of LaGrange; one grandson, Justin Craig (Alecia Lowrey) of Panama City Beach, FL; one great grandson, Aaron Chesnutt and one great granddaughter, Arabella Sprayberry, both of LaGrange; one step granddaughter, Lyndsey Broussard of Columbus, GA; two step grandsons, Rodney Law Jr. and Scotty Law, both of Hogansville, GA; very special brother-in-law, Arnold (Glenda) Yancey of LaGrange; two special nieces, Deb (Craig) Myers and Karen (Rodney) Hewitt of LaGrange; “adopted” daughter, Trina Goodrum of Atlanta, GA; and Ted’s extended family and Exxon Mobil.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel.
The family will be at their home and will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, GA 30240 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Teddy Lamar Freeman.
