Mr. William "Bill" Joseph Gaston, Jr.

Mr. Gaston was born May 30, 1949 in Atlanta, GA, son of the late William Joseph Gaston, Sr. and Nancy Surrency Gaston. Mr. Gaston received his Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia State University and was self-employed as a Certified Public Accountant until his retirement. He served on the Board of Industry and Trade from 1983 until 1991. Mr. Gaston served as past Master of the Peachtree Masonic Lodge #732 and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Shriner.

Survivors include his daughters, Leigh (Rix) Threadgill and Christine Buice; three grandchildren, Kate Threadgill, Joseph Threadgill, And Adeline Threadgill; sisters, Nancy Perkins, Susan Hobbs, Yvonne Hartzler, and Jan Sailors; brothers, David Gaston, Jeff Gaston, George Gaston, Keith Gaston, and John Gaston; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Loyd Presbyterian Church with Dr. Rix Threadgill officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice LaGrange or Loyd Presbyterian Church in memory of Mr. William J. “Bill” Gaston, Jr.
