Arnold worked for Conoco Inc. in the Natural Gas and Gas Products Department for 31 years. He retired in 1994. He enjoyed hunting, camping, 4-wheeling, and maintaining his "immaculate" yard. He loved spending time with family and especially the little "greats" the later of his years. Arnold was a man of faith. He was a member of Glad Tidings Church where he faithfully attended. He enjoyed the fellowship and gatherings of friends at church socials.
We are eternally grateful for the time we had with him and the lessons gleaned from his example and we take solace in the belief of a heavenly reunion with him in the near future.
Arnold is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gail Devall LeJeune; son, Warren LeJeune and wife Janet; daughters, Dana Beard and husband Shane and Pamela LeJeune Duhon; beloved grandchildren, Ryan Gabriel LeJeune, Devin Arnold LeJeune and wife Marissa and Sydnie Claire Beard; great grandchildren, Slayde, Callen, Denham, and Everleigh LeJeune, children of Ryan; sisters, and brothers-in-law, Urah Greathouse, Velma Foux, Marie Bennett, Marilyn Abshire and husband Oscar, Debbie Arabie and husband Austin.
Arnold is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Warren LeJeune; sisters, Olia Vincent, Leaster Champagne and Juanita Lynch; and brothers-in-law, Rufus LaVergne, Lawrence Vincent, Lawrence Greathouse, Bob Lynch, John Foux, Herman Bennett, and Roy Champagne.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Friday, November 1, 2024 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastors Paul Burke and Gary Evers of Glad Tidings Church. Burial will follow at Prien Memorial Park Cemetery.
