Betty Hebert Thompson

Betty (Hebert) Thompson, age 99, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023. She was born August 26, 1923 to parents Maxime and Linda (Talbot) Hebert in Lake Charles, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Edward Thompson, her daughter-in-law, Sue Thompson, granddaughter Melissa Lea Landry, brother, Malcolm Hebert, and sister Maxine Meadows. Those left to cherish her memories are her children; Martin Thompson, and Marsha Thompson McMullen, her grandchildren; Shane Thompson (Kammie), and David Thompson (Julie), along with great-grandchildren; Gabe, Will, Jordan, and Dylan Thompson, and one great-great granddaughter, River Blyke Thompson. The family will welcome the public for visitation at J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home Friday, February 3, 2023 from 9:00 am until 12:45 pm, with a rosary beginning at 10:30 am. Funeral Services will be held the same day at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Consolata Cemetery. Father Jace Eskind will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ainsley's Angels of America, St Jude, or Serra Club of SWLA.
