Burns Logan

Burns retired from IBEW Local 861 as an electrician after 44 years. During his younger years he enjoyed bowling in local leagues. He was an avid Golfer who was very proud of his seven holes in one. He and his wife loved RVing, fishing and golfing together. Burns enjoyed following his grandson’s sports activities and spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years Betty Logan; son, Alan Logan and wife, Leah of Carlyss; daughter, Angela Trahan and husband, Mark of Lake Charles; brother, Roger Logan and wife, Duane; sister, Jody Reed; three grandson, Ryan and Ruston Logan, and Logan Hayes; two step grandchildren, Gavin and Emily Trahan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Judd and Frances Logan.

Visitation will be held Sunday, 4 – 8pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles, and will resume Monday at 9 am. Funeral services will begin at 11am. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
