Charles "Chuck" David Broussard

Mr. Broussard was born in Lake Charles, LA on December 22, 1945 as one of four children to Mr. Eugene and Mrs. Doris Broussard who both preceded him in death. He worked as an Electrician at Citgo for 34 years prior to his retirement in 2009. He was a past member of the VFW of Moss Bluff, IBEW Local #861, he was a lifetime member of B.A.S.S. Chuck served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam war. He was a member of the Moss Bluff United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and traveling.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 44 years; Diana Broussard of Moss Bluff., two sons; Bruce Broussard and wife Kelli of Ragley, LA and Chris Broussard of Austin, TX., one daughter; Michelle Midkiff and husband Derek of Ragley, LA., one brother; Michael Broussard and wife Janice of Longville, LA, two sisters; Cheryl Jones and husband Gary of Moss Bluff , Beth Arabie and husband Mike of Ragley., along with five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday July 27, 2015 at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Hixson Funeral Home at 10:00am with the burial to follow at Westlake Memorial in Westlake, LA, Rev. J.R. Black will Officiate.
