Cynthia Bellard, age 60, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born February 12, 1963 in Basile, LA. to Jesse and Clara Bellard.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Sharron Witherwax and husband Mark, Sheila Swier and Melissa Trahan and husband Sheldon; brother, Mark Bellard and wife Laura; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Donna Bellard; and brother, Joseph Jesse Lee Bellard, Jr.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Sunday, July 9, 2023 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume in the funeral home on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. with funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be immediately following at Reed Cemetery in Basile.
