She was a retired executive secretary for First National Bank, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Charles.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Jack Knapp of Lake Charles; son James Knapp of Moss Bluff; grandchildren Allen Knapp of Dutch Town, La., and Ryan Knapp of Lafayette, La.
Private graveside services will take place at 3:00pm, Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Highland Memorial Garden in Lake Charles. Reverend Betty McGehee will officiate. Words of comfort may be shared @ www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
