David was a native of Rhode Island and recent resident of Lake Charles. Since his earlier years, David was a first responder and proudly served as a firefighter and EMT. During his career in the fire department, he worked in the states of Rhode Island, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. He later became a Fire Investigator, leading into retirement.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Michelle Hesse and husband Joseph of Lake Charles and Tinamarie Hooley of Lincoln, NE; granddaughters:Kayla Hesse, Joline Elizabeth Georgiana, Courtney Louise Fogg, Catherine Irene Queen; and a sister, Dale Heffley and family in Seminole, OK.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Deborah A. (Dunbar) Fielder.
