David Allen Pitt also known as Beloved One was welcomed into heaven by Jesus and His multitude of Angels on March 13, 2020. David was the son of Gary W. Pitt and De’ette M. Pitt. Born on April 26th, 1979 in Lander Wyoming the world finally had purpose. He was the younger brother of Gary Pitt II, Alex Pitt, and the older brother of Nickolas Pitt. He sired four children (That he knows of) three daughters; Danielle, Danica, and Dakota Pitt, and one son Emitt Pitt and in that order. He had two wives (Not at the same time) Dawn who is the mother of his daughters and Heather who is the mother of his son and latest. He was a young grandpa to his granddaughter Laura Meche as well. His legacy does not end with him. David grew up all over the American west such as Alaska, Arizona, Nevada, and Wyoming but after getting stuck in Fort Polk, LA by the Army he settled in to his central command base in Westlake, LA. He didn’t care much for it but he accepted it in order to be close to his kids who were the greatest happiness in his life. David was always meant for big things and by living there, he sacrificed the big things that don’t matter for the little things that do.
David was a social butterfly. He was the most loving and caring person. He was like no other. He was the best friend a person could have. He was always helping those in need. We depended on him because he was dependable motivated by love. He was the least judgmental person. He saw the good in people. He was a miner like much of his family. He was a 19 Delta Cavalry Scout in the US Army. He acted in TV, film, and commercials. He was a singer and frequently sang to packed houses during Karaoke and though he didn’t care to listen to music often he was a great dancer. His greatest and most dedicated role was dad, son, brother, grandpa, friend, and husband. If you asked him what his job was, He would say, “It was to live life.” We all know his real job was to take care of everyone around him.
He was the best looking and favorite to everyone and he was quick to remind people of that. He had an unbridled charisma that drew people to him. His beautiful smile was bright and genuine. His soul shined through the darkness of this world. He loved adventure, road trips, riding his bike, driving his Jeep, fishing, hunting (though he didn’t like killing as he was a lover not a fighter but don’t piss him off because he could kick some butt if need be.) He loved to make people laugh and in doing so made him laugh. He strived at and excelled at making others happy and feel loved. He was a man of adventure.
His life was as beautiful as he was but not as beautiful as he is now. He was a blessing to this world. We are grateful to him and to God for him.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
