Dolores Ann Nunez

She was born on September 30, 1938 in Lake Charles, LA to Alexander and Eva Young. Dolores worked for Mayo Land and Title where she retired. She enjoyed gardening, gambling, shopping, garage sales, reading, and most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved pet JJ.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 56 years, Rudolph Nunez; two sons, Rudolph “Chip” Nunez, Jr. and wife Renee’ of Tomball, TX; Eric Nunez and wife Angie of Lake Charles; daughter, Jackie Leslie and husband Reggie of Moss Bluff; along with seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Hubert Young.

Services will be at 11:00am at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Monday, January 30, 2017. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 5:00-9:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm and resume at 9:00am Monday until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Grand Lake Cemetery.
