Edna "Tina" Christine Serrette

She had a deep love for the Lord and led many to accept Jesus as their Savior. She opened her home to anyone in need. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Paige Clayton and fiancée Chasity Griffith of Lake Charles; Isaiah Serrette and fiancée Stacy Gottsch of Sulphur; Uriah "Rudy" Serrette and wife Ashley of Lake Charles; daughters, Naomi Serrette and Felicity Serrette of Lake Charles; former daughter-in-law Wendy Clayton of Lake Charles; brother, Butch Dubroc of Eunice; sisters, Nell Pryor and husband Ned of Crowley; Gayle Brewer of Osceola, TX.; Lilah Burley and husband A.C. of Basile; grandchildren, Devaney, Morgan, Marlie, Hannah G., Emma, Hannah N., Nick, LeeAnna, Justin, Gavyn, Aloura, Jagger, Paitton, Tatum, Tobie and all her “yard children.” She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lela Mae Guillory, brothers, Mike Dubroc and Joe Joe Guillory.

Her service will be Monday, September 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Rev. Paula Raley will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 pm. and resume Monday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Consolata Cemetery.
